It's what has compelled, and is still compelling me, to continue to eat as healthfully as possible so that I AM able to do more fasting without the withdrawals being a distraction. I think ultimately the Daniel fast the first time is more revealing about personal weakness than anything else--and in that sense, mine was a GREAT success! God led me to this verse: "But Samuel replied, "What is more pleasing to the LORD: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen!
